The FrontPage extensions are activated when needed. Contact SUPPORT
SYSTEM.

How can I copy my website/data
to the Server?
Apart from FrontPAGE any FTP program can be used - our recommendation is CUT
FTP. The following data must be indicated for the FTP Client for the connection:
Host/servers (Domain or IP address of your account), Login and password.

Why
can I connect to the server but not to the Upload?
The directory for the data is /httpdocs.
After the connection to the server, changes to this directory, then data can be
copied.

Can I change the FTP Password?
The password for the FTP access can via Admin Tool in the menu SETUP be changed.

Can FTP password be sent to
me?
For safety reasons no passwords are sent by E-Mail. We recommend the assignment
of a new password via Admin Tool in the menu SETUP.

What is a Web user and/or FTP
Account?
Via Web user - in such a way the appropriate menu in the Admin Tool. A FTP can
enter with own password, limited to a sub-directory. In the Browser the listing
is this Web users then under http://www.YOURDOMAIN.CO.ZA /~webuser.

Why can I not activate the
function anonymous FTP server?
This function is an option and must be activated. Contact SUPPORT
SYSTEM.

What is the reason of the
different directories on my Account?
anon_ftp:
Service: Anonymous FTP server
With
activated anonymous FTP server contains this listing of 2 sub directories. The
file "incoming" becomes the anonymous high shop (without own Login)
and "pub" used for the Download of files.
bin:
Service: -
This file contains internal system files and by you is not needed.
cert:
Service: SSL server
Of these files contains the appropriate certificate in the case the employment
of its own SSL of server.
cgi-bin:
Service: Scripting (Perl/CGI)/Web
In these files can only store Perl/CGI Scripts. On Web it is under the following
address: http://www.YOURDOMAIN.CO.ZA/cgi-bin/
conf:
Service: -
This directory is used for manual account-specific configurations (Apache/PHP)
on the part of Africaswift (Pty) Ltd.
error_docs:
Service: Error documents
This directory contains four HTML files, which you can begin for the production
of own error messages. The appropriate file names may not be changed.
httpdocs:
Service: Web
Of these files represents the actual general directory of your account. Here all
files are stored, which should be accessed over the Web.
httpsdocs:
Service: SSL
Account owners with own SSL
certificate use this directory for the storage of files, which should be only
coded access.
statistics:
Service: Log/statistics data
This directory consists of several subdirectories, which contain the evaluated
statistics data as well as the log files.
logs:
This file contains the files access_log and error_log. According to standard
these are emptied on a monthly bases and used for the generation of the
statistics (/Web-done).
webstat
This file is for visual statistics.
webstat-ssl
This file is for analysis SSL statistics.
ftpstat
This file is for analysis FTP statistics.
anon_ftpstat
This file is for analysis Anonymous FTP statistics
web_users
In this directory all web users have their own sub-directories.
